Ms. Liliana

Our Head teacher Ms. Liliana holds a Bachelor of Arts diploma in Education. She has been living in Japan for nine years and she is “in love with this beautiful country and its people”.

She has been teaching young children for nearly twenty years and has enjoyed every minute of it! Ms. Liliana is a dynamic, energetic and compassionate teacher who is committed in providing preschool and kindergarten students with a relaxed, yet structured and positive atmosphere which assists in learning, building self-confidence and self-esteem.

Ms. Liliana believes that being a part of children’s growth and education is a privilege and is honored to have the opportunity to bring her experiences as an educator along with her educational background to Seta International Preschool/Kindergarten.

Mr.Patrick

Mr. Kevin is from New York City in America. Before coming to Seta International School, Mr. Kevin taught English in Japan for several years, and prior to his arrival in Japan, he practiced architecture for four years in New York. He received his Bachelor of Architectural Design from the University of Florida, graduating with highest honors.

He believes that learning through making (creative/artistic activities) can greatly inform the educational process, and allows children to solve problems in unexpected, interesting ways. He also believes that children should assume an educator role among their classmates to help build confidence in the skills they are trying to learn and reinforce what they have already learned.

When Kevin is not teaching his interests include designing and building furniture, writing, and cycling.

While attending college, she worked at Child Development Center for the school which is accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). Then she pursued a career in Japan and has been working with children for years.

Ms. Chiemi likes to listen to children’s stories. She says they are creative and interesting, and she believes that when children have more opportunities to speak, their language will develop more.
