Mr. Kevin is from New York City in America and has been teaching at Seta International School for three years. Prior to his arrival in Japan, he was an architectural designer in New York. He received his Bachelor of Architectural Design from the University of Florida, graduating with highest honors.
He believes that learning through making (creative/artistic activities) can greatly inform the educational process, and allows children to solve problems in unexpected, interesting ways. He also believes that children should assume an educator role among their classmates to help build confidence in the skills they are trying to learn and to reinforce what they have already learned.
When Kevin is not teaching his interests include designing and building furniture, writing, and cycling.
